We are currently looking for new committee members who are willing to give up some time to help with our activities.

Committee members are asked to attend periodic meetings, usually every few weeks on a Tuesday evening 7pm - 9pm, and to volunteer to pick up tasks that progress the organisation's agenda. 

​

This may involve becoming familiar with planning applications, liaising with various authorities, the media and subject matter experts, organising fund raising activities etc.

​

We also have ambitions to act as more than a protest group and with enough help, and funds, aim to set up projects which will provide new benefits and facilities for the village.

 

It can be hard work but it is also rewarding and is an opportunity to contribute to enhancing Tockwith and the surrounding area.

 

It's not all work, there is also an opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and its not unusual for a few of us retire to the pub after a meeting to socialise.
